look with a flashlight, you will see the nut in the cavity ahead of the fuse block, you will need a long handle 16mm to hold that nut steady as you loosen the bolthead.

the passenger side is a bit more involved as you need to work with the "electronic box" there.

I use the rat trap glue to hold the nut on the wrench to install it.
