I am trying to describe the rubber seal which spans the distance between the metal body of the door and the glass. It's a rubber squeegee that rides against the glass and keeps water from running into the lower cavity of the door.

The interior seal is easy to remove. Removal of the exterior seal is not so obvious. I have replacements which are in good shape for both seal.

I removed the metal track that holds the rear of the window to remove the motor and regulator. I suppose that is an acceptable way to do it.

I appreciate all the help and apologize for not knowing the proper terms of the subjects and my inability to describe them clearly.
