I'm not sure what the difference is or the ramifications are with regard to the the salvage title but that will be what it is since they are calling it a total loss.

With $1000 deductible I walk with $5500 and the car. I'd love to fix it but I don't the resources or the time right now. Finding all the right parts would take some doing but if I was a guy with time, skills and resources this would be a good one fix up. I'll take pictures of the engine and housing to give someone a better idea of what the job would entail.

The only issue is adjuster showed me the very minuscule signs that the frame did absorb a very slight tweak. Their very fine and tiny cracks under the tirewell on the right front. but he said it was very minimal and it could be set very easily.

Anyway, I'm buried and have to get back to work. I probably posted this in the wrong forum and I apologize. I just wanted to get it up for you guys to see what your thoughts were and go home as it was 2:30AM last night and i'm a hurtin unit right now. =)
