I have a 2008 Bluetec. I can get a check fuel filter message if there is water in the filter. Could be a false alarm due to a faulty sensor (located top center in the filter).


Change filter every 20,000 miles. Leakage is probably one of the two hoses on top of the filter. Loose clamp.
