One time on a 3k mile road trip in my grey car my wife and I played a really fun game.
Spot the broken down cars, and tally up which makes and models are most unreliable.
Chevy SUVs were pretty high, then Toyota cars I believe.
Didn't see a single mercedes broken down anywhere, and yes I did see several w123s and other similar aged ones.
A lot of our cars do tend to have issues from people running WVO improperly. I've seen people pour in wvo and paint thinner unfiltered, and then wonder why their car doesn't last like everyone said the mercedes diesels were indestructible...
That road trip we used about 1/4 tank of diesel, and an entire trunk full of WVO. only problem had? turbo drain seal. knew it was going but was too lazy to do it.
