Man do I drool when I see a 6.3 or a 6.9 (actually my indie has TWO 6.9's for sale if anyone's interested, let me know), but I remember hearing someone say that the reason they were named the 'bankers hot-rod' was that you needed to own a bank to afford to keep one! - could easily give a W140 a run for it's money and that's just the basic maintenance...
Also, I remember Stu Ritter, on the Ritter-Easely email list saying he had a customer who was convinced the '6' in the 6.9 stood for 6x the times price for
every part on the car compared to other SEL's of the same vintage.
Again, love the cars, but doubt I'll ever own one
