The seats that Recaro offers range quite a bit. The chair I have is not a racing seat. It looks very much like a regular "street" type of seat. I think a leather surface is better than the cloth for an office chair since one would get in and out of it frequently during the day.

I think the question to answer regarding a Mercedes seat is whether it would fit on a Recaro base. Contact them and see.
