So yes, I was able to manipulate the internal rocker in the seatback latch until the computer beeped and released the passenger seat lockout which kept it way forward! I now have a two passenger vehicle (not one) with a great back cargo area for my dog and gear..

Now if I can locate those windshield cowl screens..studying mine Im very sure that the W210 screens designed for a mono-wiper system will clearly not work as the other fellow was telling me..

Its just the rubber lip that is bad so maybe some gasket material and adhesive will do a repair job to the existing part..we will see!

I am in rainy Oregon on the coast and we dont need water going the wrong directions!
