I think you'll find that any new radio is compatible with any remote antenna, including Hirschmann.

After using this radio for several months, I still find it adequate. With one exception. The Bluetooth function doesn't respond to Siri. Once the call is established, it works fine. But without Siri, you can't voice dial. Just in case you were going to use this radio with an Iphone.
