Do a Valve Adjustment and see if that helps.

Note that the Vacuum Pump can make a ticking sound before it falls apart. Use that wood or mechanics stethoscope to locate where the sound is coming from as other said.

Also the Air Filter Housing Bracket is noted for breaking or the rubber buffers failing.
