My '87 300TD is missing the second part of the radiator fan shroud (the part that encircles the fan blades). It appears that the radiator replacment was done in a sloppy manner prior to my ownership.

Nevertheless here is the technical question:

How may degrees of cooling do you folks think that the missing shroud will provide.
