I recently purchased my first MB. It is a 300D 2.5 Turbo. Never worked on these machines before, so I was wondering if there are any tips to be shared about procedure for replacing glow plugs. The light comes back on after going out at first and Benzmac tells me I may have one or more plugs that are bad. Just thought as long as the hood was up I would do them all. Any special tools or precautions I should know about?
Also what would be a good high quality crankcase oil for this turbo assisted engine?
Many thanks in advance, ROSCOE
