I don't see how missing bushing #50 would affect the manual "stop" operation. That is on the "pedal input rod" which is just along-for-the-ride when you push the stop lever. That lever pivots on the bushing in part #21, and the IP input rod comes directly off the stop lever. You can quickly pop off all those extraneous linkages w/ a screwdriver to insure that none are preventing full rotation of the stop lever. Also, unbolt the pedal input rod, as I suggested in post 6. If you still can't stop the engine, something else is wrong. You never answered my question if you fussed with the IP shutdown valve.
