I ordered a spare key for my 08 ML a few months ago and the dealer noticed that the key would not unlock the door, even though it turns with no issues it does not unlock. The lock mechanism went out a few weeks later so I was hoping that was the problem. After replacing the lock assembly everything is working again except the key. Do I just need to order another door lock for the outside?
