Thanks Fred! I forgot about the DIY section.
Found one post in the section from 2007 regarding fan removal from the shaft. Talked about soaking in P B Blaster, bracing the fan cage with wooden blocks, and useing a hammer and punch to drive out shaft. I’ll give it a try, but the OP in the thread was having trouble and never reported success. Looks like the only option.
