On the in line 6 cars, the sensor bolts to the side of the oil pan with 2 bolts, the V8 should be the same. There is an o ring for sealing and one wire for sensing.

If the leak is around the sensor, change the o ring. If leaking from the wire connection, change the sensor. You will need to drain the oil for this change
