Diseasel - I have never seen a set of Bendix that use the ATE type nub to hold in the pins. Do they come that way? Every one I have seen has a cotter key.

I have not replaced the back pads on my SD for a while but I seem to remember that the anti-rattle springs are exactly the same for front and back. I have no idea why it would be necessary to buy new ones; they never wear out.

Yeah, Bendix retaining spring on the left, Ate on the right.
