I'm in a bit of a time bind... I might just end up with a new hose.
There was usually a small pool of liquid around the tap anyway so it's possible it was already leaking.

Here's the question: who wins in a fight, the pump threads or the line threads? I'd hate to do this again and be out a pump (preferably the line).
