I have had very good luck with Marketplace. Bought a donor car for less than the price of parts I needed and then made another $400 carving out misc. other parts for folks and still have the hulk for the can man. On the dark side - noticed recently the scammers have arrived and also the input of paid advertisers (non local mail order crap). They did add seller/buyer ratings which is good.
Gotten rid of a lot of misc. stuff by posting and putting a reasonable price. Never listed anything that didn't sell fairly quick.
