Thanks guys for trying to help..!!!!
BUT...it doesnt REALLY tell me much..!
The diagram That DR. Sternschnuppe..IS correct...showing N5 as the right crankshaft TDC sensor..BUT...it shows it going to the "box"on the inner fender.
The "end"on the sensor wires is a "curved"3 socket "female"end...so..it needs a "male"3 prong connector to it.
Does...this end just sit "loose"for diagnostics..?...OR..is it connected to something...??? From the look of the condition of the "used" female end..it is totally clean...SO..it MUST have been connected..SOMEWHERE..???!! The sensor at the flywheel has never been touched...so..the question IS...is the FRONT crank sensor FUNCTIONAL..OR JUST sitting "loose"for diagnostic..?..A REAL brain teaser..!!!
There was thousands of these "1980s" 2.0 w201s made...but..they are..along with many parts...getting RARE..!
PLEASE...SOMEONE out there MUST have one SIMILAR to this..???...and can look to see WHERE this crank sensor wire runs..?
