Cool! Was the usac race stockers or indy cars?

The Indy cars had to stop running there as the drivers were blacking out after a couple laps at their fastest speed. It was that or figuring a way to fit them with pressure suits.

I was thinking there is a test track perhaps by Goodyear? in texas where AJ set a record in the oldsmobile Aerotec (?) The Aerotec was an older Indy car chassis fitted with a four cylinder turbocharged Olds engine....Quad 4?
