I called a salvage yard today looking for an injection pump. They were asked is it:


123 Type, Pump Only, (fuel injected), from engine ID 121329
123 Type, Pump Only, (fuel injected), thru engine ID 121328

Of which my engine is a 1980 model and like a 134XXX....

My question is: can anyone confirm or deny that an injection pump off a 1983 240 will work on a 1980. I am imagining that anything after 1977-ish will be the same pump.. but I would like to confirm.
