Yeah, Well........
Like I said, when my worthless free advice doesn't solve your problems, then decide to thank or curse me .
I've been working on old things since I was in short pants, I love to fiddle and tinker .
When I was a dealer mechanic (not M-B) I didn't get any comebacks but they hated me because I took too much time .
Like everything else in life, what you get out of it, depends on what you put into it (sort of like the sewer, dig ?) .
Thanx for your support in any case .
I took my junker 1984 300CD on a nice mountain road trip with one of my Foster boys to - day, some how I managed to get ahead of all the Motocycles in my group, they never did catch up, we had a whale of a good time , these are superb cars to travel in, not only tootle 'round town .
BTW : old German things like Horex' , Gogomobiles, vintage VW's and so on are all made the same way as our expen$ive Mercedes are......
Take 'em apart and fix the darn things like was intended .
