They nailed so bad I finally pulled them out and replaced them with some bosch injectors I purchased off Ebay. Things have been much quieter ever since....
In my own experience with Monark nozzles in my 603, they are markedly louder than the Bosch until they break in. Mine weren't nailing, but it was a very loud "diesel knock". It took mine ~1500-2000 miles to settle in, but now they're quieter than the Bosch were. Not sure what it is that causes the noise, I unscientifically suspect it's the tight tolerances having to "wear in".
