Hi all,

I am ready to replace the trunk lid seal on our 1989 560SEL. Two quick questions: (1) What is the best compound to use to remove the old glue, and (2) what is the best glue I can use on the new seal?

This is a direct order Mercedes part, so there should not be any problems with the fit. This is not a knock-off.
