Anti Slip Regulation.

The Engine computer is tied to the ASR module for Traction control of the rear wheels.

If a fault occurs, the car goes into Limp Mode and cuts engine RPM,s.

You can tell if your car has the ASR feature [ it was an option ] by looking at the speedo with key ON.
Is there a yellow lit triangle in the middle of the speedo on your car?

If YEs, then you can access the ASR codes under the hood and clear the offending code.

One of the codes is kickdown fault.
