Valves are fine, as is TC stretch, always carry filters, and I will be checking the diff, so it looks like for the most part, Im on track.

Flex joints, now thats something I have NEVER looked at...

I realized that my CV joint was going bad when I heard a loud clicking while going 75 mph through TN with 4 people in the car... After a couple miles I decided to stop, only to find a smoking cv joint, and the lube oil splattered all over the underside of my car.
Because I had to get back from TN to DE in 12 hours or so, I didnt want to push the cv joint. (now I have to wonder if I could have), so I got a u-haul and we rode 4 across a bench seat all the way through the night. I thought that the CV joint used the diff fluid, and was afraid that my diff would go if I kept driving it. I dont want to repeat that, and while I am much more knowledgable now (only had the car a few months when that happened), I dont want to be stranded again.

Thanks for the ideas!

JMH
