Actually I considered feeding and befriending him. Unfortunatly the larger dog kills small rodents fast. I do not think it is breed specific for him but he is efficient in doing so. Yet he will not attack a cat.

So I did not want the small animal seeking me out when the dogs where home from the cottage in the fall. He might have run into the dog in the process.
