Good evening all

I have a new to me a 1991 Mercedes 500SL and I am trying to replace the ignition electrical switch. My question is hot to release the switch from the housing. The ignition switch housing I have is all metal and not part plastic? I can find plenty of videos on the plastic housing and the release button.
