I did not see anything other than magnets in the pan. There is something I don't recognize between torque converter section and the pan (external). I'll eventually get around to researching to see what it is but it looks like a drive/motor assembly that adjusts something inside the transmission. I did not do anything out of the ordinary with the service and I could not tell any difference in the shifting/driving.

I turn the shut down device off. Personally I am not a fan just because in the back of my mind I'm thinking about the additional wear and tear on the starter.

Prior to this one all the cars I've ever owned that shut down at the red light required you to get out and push..
