yes, thats a possibility. my W210 did that once, whole tuneup session with plugs, coils, wires, fuel filter, air filter, PCV system reseal.

no start, nothing, not even a click. check the big purple wire in the K40 relay box and found no signal on it on crank (it was a december), so I put a hair dryer aimed at the unit - and it started after 20 seconds of some heating.

replaced that unit later on that week once fedex dropped it off.
