I think I found my pop noise problem while turning and going over speed bumps. It has gotten worse lately and I decided to just drive it till it got really noisy and it would finally reveal itself.

Yesterday I decided to be scientific and just spray some silicone spray just in one spot. Usually I get frustrated and hose every rubber to metal joint down when the noise gets bad and I never know what quieted it down. Then it comes back.

Well I did one spot and it went away immediately. Drum roll.

The rubber spring spacer on top of my front spring. Somehow the spring is binding up in there and going clunk, groan and boing. Getting it wet with silicone spray made it go away.

I put in Meyle pads a few years ago. Perhaps I should spring for the MB pads.

Just thought I should follow up in case anyone is living with this annoying noise.
