The "Roll and Tip" method works good on lighter colors, but on my current project I tried it with High Gloss Black there were brush lines, so I ended up using a HVLP spray gun.
took a while to get it right.

Okay good advice. Though I am curious, how did you match the paint? Or was the car a completely different color before? I guess what I am asking is, did you paint the engine bay, door jambs etc. or was the car already a similar color?
