Thank you all for your replies. Fuse C supplies several but not all of he facilities shown by the USA diagrams. First port of call on thse digrams is the automatic antenna, but on my car that is the end of the circuit. in trying to isolate this fault, I have disconnected the faulted circuit at those points that I know is affected and tried to track its route with only partial success. Hence my desire to secure a diagram of the Aussie arrangment. I can see the red/yellow cable entering and leaving X18 where the conductors enter the plug, but as one can see in many posts, I don't want to go in too heavy handed and break something. I guess the advice re fine screwdrivers means that although the top view of the connector is qite different to most other plug connectors in Mercs, it really does separate between male and female parts so he screwdrivers would be inserted horizontally into the separation, that I cannot really see?
