A couple of comments:


1) The issue with the oil drain back tube would be an "issue" though you could, of course, have a tube welded in to accomplish that function. I'm surprised that the bolt pattern is different but I'm sure Rollguy is right.


2) The upper pan uses no gasket but it DOES require anerobic (sp?) gasket sealer, which means that it sets in the absence of oxygen. Silicone sealant is NOT correct in this application. Permatex makes it and I found mine at Advance, in stock and ready to go. It was fairly cheap and that joint remains dry.
