If it's like the W124, these cars are pretty near impossible to steal! I have a parts car 93 sedan with no key. I tried driving a screwdriver into the lock and breaking it with a crescent wrench... no dice. Tried drilling the lock out.... no dice, the little stainless cover is as hard as a HSS drill. Tried just breaking the lock pin with a bar through the wheel... no dice. My end solution was to take the lower dash panel off to where I could see the lock pin and chain drilling a row of holes in the cast aluminum housing to allow the pin to pull back and release the steering.
