If so, the amount of gasket compression is set by the odd shaped washers under the bolts. Screwdriver tight or just short of snapping off and gasket compression will be the same. (Unless the washers crush )
These are 6 mm threads correct? I'd go just tighter than a very hard to turn screwdriver. ( I'd have to look up a spec otherwise. )

Yes it does. I put a new MB gasket on it as a matter of fact. I'm not clear on what you mean about the "odd shaped washer..". I called the Indy so I use from time to time and he couldn't give me a torque value but said to snug them then as if I were using a 1/4" socket, tighten in an 'x' pattern as tight as I could. So, I was on my own and feel confident I got it just about 'right'. [emoji846]
I'd say I tightened them just darn near your recommendation [emoji41]
