I dunno. Isuzu's have always struck me as having an extremely reliable simplicity about their design: interior and exterior. As well as being cheap, and I believe avaliable with a 5 speed. For some reason they always stick in my mind as the most simple and reliable guys of the bunch. This may not be true as I have not really researched them, but it's worth a look.
