Point is, it's not $18 and on your way. Count the special tools he's used...slide hammer appliance, rotary brushes, injector reamers, and a few more common tools like XZN sockets. And he didn't show or maybe didn't do an injector overhaul. That's all cost/hard work for the shade tree. If the injector was completely stuck, he'd have to pull the head and send it to be hot tanked. You need to factor that in to what you pay for the car.
