If you're trying to fight $200 aspirin tablets, etc. give up now before you rip your hair out ~ the charges are insane compared to what you can pay at any drug store or medical supply place .
When my spine was shattered (L1 vertibrae) by the gypsy cab running me over at a red light, they put me in a nifty elastic back support thing, it was terrific and even had battens sown into it like a sail boat uses, I had to wear it for a few years and wore it out, went back to buy another and was told
$1,500.00 (!?! WTH?!?) ~ instead I went to a Motocycle touring supplies place and bought essentially the same device for $35, used it until I could stand / walk etc,. without it .(it takes a l-o-n-g time for shattered bone to regenerate, heal, whatever the hell it did) .
Glad I was smart enough to have paid for good health insurance years in advance .
Good luck fighting the billing office .
