I've been very satisfied with both Nakamichi, which I have in my 16 valve and Blaupunkt, which I have in my 123.

I'm also not a fan of the flashy head units that you now see in stores. I think they really clash with the classy interior of our cars. Maybe you can find a used Blaupunkt on Ebay or something.
