We always have quite a crowd in for new years day dinner. The wife sets it up buffet style. Others might remind their wives about this option for larger dinners.Otherwise you would need a staff.
Plus it always goes very smooth. Around seventy five people and no real issues have come at least a few times. I always wondered what she would do with all the food if the weather shut the day down. For some reason it has never happened yet.
In fact this may be an ongoing success simply because people can select what they like and the quantity of it. Over the years I also have observed that peoples eating habits in general are changing.
She does about ten vegatables and that is where the really heavy hit is now. The estimated requirement of meat needed has been steadily declining.
.Our two dogs go into social overdrive. They never table beg anyways. Yet I find their approach of just quietly floating around with all the people must be getting them the results they like. Their sophistication suprises me. Kind of a hi there and I just might consider a sample of your food. If that is what you want to do. I am not going to ask.
