Diesel is leaking from somewhere. Feel all the cloth-covered fuel lines that daisy-chain between the injectors, don't forget that #5 injector has a line on one barb and a plugged short line on the other barb.

If those lines aren't leaking, then check the hard fuel lines between injection pump and injectors, and then after that look at the rest of the fuel lines.
