Official number was 13.2 seconds to 60, and I'll bet it's with one passenger. Seems that opening up the exhaust really helps with power.
I used to race my friend home after school with mine...he had a 1978 Malibu, that could throw you in the backseat on launch. However, I often won, due to how small the Yugo was and how I could weave around traffic.

As much as I was teased for owning one, I do miss driving the little thing around. It was fun to drive while catching the horn button when it would fly off after hitting a bump, or leaning back to get your wallet out of your pocket, and the lay down seat latch not catching, causing you to be in the prone position while moving. One of my favorites was when I hit a possum one night, and bent the passenger side strut.

In all seriousness, I wouldn't mind having another...great on gas.
