Just ask for a blood test that checks your troponin level.
That's what tells if you are on the verge of an attack.
It's what the doctors use.
Be advised also that heart attacks don't feel like pain felt when you have muscle aches, or twinges from nerve aches.
You may feel like someone is standing on your chest, a great weight that slows you down.
I was in the ER when my cardiologist told me we operate or I would have a fairly bad coronary within an hour. So we operated in 15 minutes and I have lived happily ever after with no effects, ten years later.
Changed diet and exercise program, but that was it.
Only drawback: had to wait a full month before I could have any sex.
