So I’m doing a head gasket and timing chain guide repair. Everything is going pretty smoothly till today.. It looks like I put the head on with the exhaust cam 45 degrees out of timing. I can’t spin it around due to the valves most likely hitting the pistons.

Just to double check:

I have to pull the head, out a new gasket and head bolts correct? Do I need to take the head back to the machine shop to have checked out?
