MAJOR plus for yahoo is, you can access it with POP3. What this means is, you can access it with Outlook or any email program. With hotmail, you HAVE to go through the web page and type your password in every time. you can't forward mail either.

Actually I hardly ever give EITHER e-mail address to anyone except those I care about hearing anything from. I think there's alot of random email generators thingees out there (spiders?) that'll find you no matter what you do. Just as phone solicetors still find my unlisted number.
I've used Outlook for my Hotmail. Works fine.
And I forward stuff all the time.
