Thanx Fellas ! .

I'm an avid reader (many from snow country are) and also buy lots of books from Amazon, my deal is : when I find an author I like I'll go look up and buy their books on Amazon .

I cannot possibly afford all the books I read so I'm always 'On The Hunt' for more ~ we have "Little Free Libraries" here and there so I both use them and stock them up with my discards ~ I only keep Technical books after reading .

I loved Sci-Fi in the 1960's , less so now, not sure why this is .

Sadly America is becoming less literate on a rapid basis, this is sad and wrong as illiteracy leads to crime and failure in life......

So many are afraid of reading it's amazing .

When I arrived in California long ago and enrolled in High School I made a bee line to the Library, the cranky old woman in charge refused to let me wander the stacks, telling me some crap about the Library wasn't any place Students were allowed (?! WTH ?!) .
