I had lunch with an old friend. He has 195K miles on a 94 Saab 900 V6 that turned 9 yesterday. Dealer maintained and no problems in all this time. Valve job at 75K miles after a dealer replaced timing belt snapped.

His wife has a 98 C230 (leased then purchased) and they rave about annual oil changes as recommended by FSS.
