along that same line my parents first home computer-an apple IIGS cost 3500 dollars, and it didn't even have a hard drive!!! back to the original thread, i'm thinking that I am definately getting a laptop if i can get a dumbass attack warranty, if not then i'll have more thinking to do. thanks again everyone,
